“Linsanity” No Match Against Miami’s “Big Three”
Newly cast NBA star Jeremy Lin couldn’t match the power of Miami's "Big Three" as the Heat defeated Lin and his New York Knicks with the final score of 102-88 as the league heads into the All-Star break.
Miami's strong defense last Thursday had Lin scrambling to deliver his play performance scoring 8 points with three assists and eight turnovers.
Meanwhile, on the side of the heat, Chris Bosh got 25 points, Dwyane Wade got 22 and LeBron James added 20 points! The team won their eighth game in a row and would eventually take the league-leading 27-7 record into the All-Star weekend which starts on Friday.
"The speed and the athleticism... credit to them," Lin said. "Hopefully when we play them next time, it can be a different story."
Jeremy Lin, who is half Taiwanese and half American, has been the NBA's sensational story this month, who, from a “nobody” bench boy, became a superstar in the courts of NBA because of his scoring which nearly averages 24 points a game, his excellent passing skills and his clutch shooting ability, which includes the phenomenal last-second game win at Toronto.
"I can't remember another game where it was hard just staying with my dribble."
"I'm not going to hang my head or anything like that," he added. "I went out there and played hard. You can't win 'em all. You can't have a great game every time. At the same time, I need to see what I did wrong and how I can improve."
