Lolo Jones Eliminated During Premiere Of “Dancing With The Stars”

The low scoring performance of Lolo Jones during the premiere of “Dancing With The Stars” caused the two-time gold medal winner to become the first casualty of season 19.

Jones crumbled during her cha-cha-cha performance with Keo Motsepe. She said technical difficulties linked to a wrongly cued text at the start of their performance. Jones compared her experience with past Olympics where she came close to winning a medal. She said she felt like people were teasing her and judging her after the performance.

Jones added that everyone will say she has a bad attitude.

Following the performance of Lolo Jones during the premiere episode of “Dancing With The Stars,” she received a number of bad attitude comments from the viewers. Although her performance on Monday night was hard, Jones said she had to deal with messages from people telling her that she has a bad attitude.

She added she was upset with herself since she knew the dance.

The show was a commitment for the world champion, who ended her track season early so she can practice and learn the different dances. She was also disappointed that she could not perform the samba and jive, which were tribute dances for the Rio Olympic Games in 2016. She was also disappointed that the rookie season of her partner ended early.

Allison Holker, a first-time professional dancer, sympathized with Motsepe due to his premature departure from the show. Holker said it was disappointing to see a new dancer go home during the first week since people have to see someone like Motsepe to have the opportunity to gain some momentum. Holker added that she is hoping to see Motsepe in a future season of “Dancing With The Stars” since people have to know his capabilities, which were not shown during his stint as the partner of Lolo Jones.
