May 30 Launch Of Mario Kart 8 Wii U

With a month to go before the Mario Kart 8 Wii U enters the market, Nintendo announced its latest Wii U bundle along with additional information about the upcoming game. Even as a number of unconfirmed reports about the game emerged during the past month, official details about the game were only released recently.

The gaming company revealed that the bundle, which will be released on May 30, will come with the Wii U Deluxe Set system, red-colored Mario Wii Wheel, red-colored Mario Wii Remote Plus controller, and the Mario Kart 8. The bundle is priced at $329.99.

The price of the bundle is significantly cheap since the price tag of the Wii system and Mario Kart 8 is $300 and $60, respectively. A digital game download is also offered to Mario Kart 8 Wii U bundle buyers who register at Club Nintendo before the 31st of July. The free digital download is also available for buyers of the standalone game.

Two new female characters will be included in the game, Baby Rosalina and Pink Gold Peach. Baby Rosalina comes up for a play date together with the other Baby characters while Pink Gold Peach is a heavyweight driver. Players of the Mario Kart 8 Wii U will have an easier way of flaunting their skills in driving skills. The Mario Kart TV will also allow players to view highlight reels of their games and upload them into YouTube using their Google account.

Scott Moffitt of Nintendo America said Mario Kart is loved by everyone. He added the franchise encourages people to enjoy themselves during family gatherings. It also allows players to have a break from work. Although Mario Kart 8 Wii U is considered an ambitious version of the game, it provides all players of different skill levels the opportunity to win the race.
