The 2014 Golden Globes had many interesting and quite controversial moments, but perhaps the most memorable part of the whole event was when director Woody Allen was awarded the Cecil B. Demille lifetime achievement award.

During her speech, Keaton said that Allen’s movies changed the way “we think about life, love and the pursuit of neuroses”. She also added that his female stars cannot be compartmentalized.

However, not everyone was pleased with the award, with Mia Farrow, who had a 12 year relationship with the director, and their son Ronan expressing their disapproval for the award via Twitter.

Farrow, who broke off the relationship with Allen after finding out he had been cheating on her with her adoptive daughter form another marriage tweeted during the award show that she is changing the channel and tuning into “Girls”. Farrow also brought up the fact that Allen allegedly molested a 7 year old and posted a link with an interview where victim detailed the ordeal.

Her son Ronan, who Farrow said might not even be Allen’s son but possibly Frank Sinatra’s also mentioned the alleged molestation of a 7 year old when referring to his father’s award.
