Miami Heat Ready To Sweep The First Round Of The NBA Playoffs
The Miami Heat appear to be ready for a sweep in the first round as it beat the Charlotte Bobcats, taking a 3-0 lead in the first round of the NBA Playoffs.
The Heat is also the only team to have complete control of the first round as the other top teams are currently struggling with their first round series with their opponents. Tied with two games apiece are the Indiana Pacers and the Atlanta Hawks. The Oklahoma City Thunder is also tied with Memphis at 2-2.
On the other hand, the Chicago Bulls are down three games to one to the Washington Wizards at 3-1 while the San Antonio Spurs are trailing the Dallas Mavericks, 2-1.
The owner of the Miami Heat is feeling like an ordinary onlooker as his team is cruising past the Bobcats. Miami can sweep the first round of the NBA Playoffs with a victory at the Time Warner Cable Arena on Monday.
Lebron James is also enjoying the first round since he is watching close games instead of playing in them. He said he does not feel any stress or strain while watching the games. However, the star player of Miami is also concerned with the health of the team, especially Dwayne Wade. Last year, Wade went through treatment for an injured knee.
Erik Spoelstra, coach of the Miami Heat, revealed that the team is not planning on sitting Wade out in game 4 of the series. He said that Wade is feeling good for the moment and everyone is expected to contribute to the success of the team.
Lebron James is currently averaging around 30 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists in the first three games of the first round of the NBA Playoffs. He also has a 56.9 percent shooting average and a three-point average of 40 percent.
Chris Bosh also developed his three-point shooting after winning the 2012 NBA Finals. His three-point percentage during the 2013 playoffs was at 40.5 percent. He indicated that he is aiming to have a number of moves ready to make sure their opponents will pay if they double Dwayne and Lebron at the post. The three-point percentage of the Miami Heat star in the first round of the NBA Playoffs is at 72.7 percent.
