Michael Jackson’s Doctor guilty of manslaughter

Dr. Conrad Murray was convicted guilty of involuntary manslaughter after a near 6-week trial and 10 hours of deliberation. The judgment given by the 12 jurors was unanimous and all come to an agreement that Murray was responsible for the death of Michael Jackson by giving him a deadly and fatal dose of powerful sedative Propofol.

The sedative was administered by Dr. Conrad to Jackson after the King of Pop complained about his insomnia and sleep problem. Even though Propofol was only used for major surgical operations, Dr. Murray allowed Jackson to use the sedative.  Jackson’s parents and many of his siblings were present when the final verdict was given. La Toya Jackson said she was shaking uncontrollably. She added that Michael is present in the court room to make sure the right and best verdict will be given. There was a gasp of approval from people present in the courtroom after the final verdict was read.

Outside the courtroom, hundreds of fans jubilated for the verdict. Dr. Murray was denied of his attempt to bail and was in custody until he was sentenced guilty of manslaughter.  On November 29, Michael Pastor, Judge, will determine the fate of Murray. The doctor possibly might have his medical license revoked, faces probation sentence and 4 years of imprisonment.
