Michael Schumacher Might Have Contracted A Lung Infection

Former F1 pilot Michael Schumacher is reported to have developed a lung infection as his medically-induced coma seems to be affecting his health. Michael Schumacher has been a resident of the Grenoble hospital in France since his skiing accident on the 29th of December.

While on a skiing vacation with his family and friends in the French Alps , the F1 legend fell and hit his head on a rock, resulting in a serious head trauma that determined his doctors to put him in a medically induced coma.

Even though the news about his lung infection has yet to be confirmed, reports say that the new development can have serious consequences on the pilot’s long term health. The way it will affect his comatose state is also somewhat of a mystery.

Sabine Khem, the Schumacher family spokeswoman said that she is not authorized to comment on speculative news stories, and didn’t release any new information about the former pilot’s condition.

The Grenoble medical team decided to start taking Schumacher out of his induced comatose state as January came to an end. They also mentioned that it is hard to determine how long it will take for the pilot to wake up denying all social media rumors that the ex-pilot has passed away.
