Microsoft Lumia 950/Lumia 950 XL Specs Inadvertently Revealed

Around one week before a Windows 10 hardware event was scheduled to be held by Microsoft, images of the Microsoft Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL were posted on its online store. The images showed the supposed phones themselves along with their respective specifications.

Reports revealed that customers can purchase an unlocked model of the handsets, which feature 20MP cameras at the back. The smartphones will also feature an internal storage of 32GB that can be expanded to 2TB. The Lumia 950 will come with a screen measuring 5.2-inches while the Lumia 950 XL will have a 5.7-inch screen display.

The Lumia 950 is the expected successor the high-end Lumia 930. On the other hand, the Lumia 950 XL is the larger version of the first device. Microsoft is the developer of Windows Phone, which is the third most popular mobile OS in the world. It follows the Android OS of Google and iOS of Apple.

For the moment, information on these upcoming premium smartphones is limited. But, Microsoft is expected to officially give the details of these smartphones during its event in New York on October 6. In addition to the Microsoft Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL, the company may also launch its latest Surface tablets and wearable devices at the event.
