In one of the biggest trade deals this month some of the biggest teams in baseball like the Boston Red Sox, The Chicago White Sox and the Detroit Tigers managed to get a great deal while solving some of the key positions in their squads.

The Red Sox managed to fill in the lack of experience of the squad with veteran Jake Peavy, the Chicago White Sox signed Avisail Garcia, one of the most promising young outfield players in the sport right now. While the Detroit Tigers landed shortstop Jose Iglesias.

The Boston Red Sox also managed to get reliever Brayan Villarreal's signature on transfer from the Detroit Tigers. However, they had to let go of Cleulius Rondon, Francelis Montas and Jeffery Wendelken in favor of the Chicago White Sox.

The Tigers may be the team that needed this deal more than the others as their star shortstop Jhonny Peralta could receive a 50 game suspension as a result of the Major League Baseball’s Biogenesis probe.

The Detroit based team’s president David Dombrowski said when referring to Jose Iglesias that he is a player that can “provide a lot of depth” and that despite his age, he managed to play on more than one role in the infield.
