Moto X Coming To Verizon
Verizon announced recently that it is preparing to include the second-generation Moto X into its lineup of devices. The Big Red revealed that the flagship smartphone of Motorola is set to become available by September 26, 2014.
The black 16GB model is expected to be launched by the mobile service provider by Friday at a price tag of $99 with the typical 24-month service contract. Another promotion is also offered for the customers of Verizon. The promotion provides customers the opportunity to acquire a white model of the smartphone featuring a bamboo back at the same price tag.
The second-generation Moto X can also be customized by customers through the Moto Maker of Motorola, which is expected to start accepting orders of Verizon customers. Customized models of the smartphone are available in two storage options, 16GB and 32GB. The price tag for the 16GB and 32GB customized smartphones are $99.99 and $149.99, respectively.
In another promotion, Verizon will also offer 4G LTE data for customers who subscribe or activate their new Motorola smartphone under the MORE Everything plan. Customers who select a rate plan with a monthly data of at least 1GB, the mobile service provider will offer an additional 1GB of data for every month in the next two years.
The latest flagship smartphone of Motorola uses the Android 4.4.4 KitKat mobile OS. It also features a 1080p screen display and quad-core processor. Motorola is also offering a number of software tricks to users of the device. Aside from the second-generation Moto X, Motorola also unveiled the Moto G, which features lower specifications than the X and has a cheaper price tag.
