NATO Confirms Amounting Russian Troops

NATO representatives have confirmed that Russian troops, tanks and artillery have been amounting on the Ukraine border with some troops even crossing the border camouflaged as aid trucks or rebel troops. According to observers from the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe or OSCE up to 43 military lorries with no markings carrying five heavy artillery howitzers as well as five rocket launchers have entered the rebel controlled city of Donetsk.

U.S. General Philip Breedlove confirmed that in the last two days several columns of Russian equipment, particularly Russian tanks, artillery and air defence weapons have entered Ukraine. The general couldn’t give an exact number of troops but he did mention that there were several columns.

Kiev army officials and Ukraine’s defence minister Stepan Poltorak declared they are preparing for a new round of military interventions in the eastern regions of Ukraine in sight of the new movements of Russian and rebel troops and artillery.

Poltorak added that the Ukrainian army is preparing for open conflict, readying its reserves and observing all foreign and rebel movements. He also said that while highly complicated, the situation in conflict zones is stable.

Russia has maintained its rhetoric on the matter since the fighting started denying any implication in the fighting but openly supporting any separatist politicians.
