New Bridget Jones Book To Be Released In October

"Bridget Jones's Diary", the extremely popular series written by Helen Fielding will hit bookshelves once again with its third installment this October.

The new book will be entitled “Mad About The Boy” and will take Bridget’s view on relationships, and the new world of social media.

With the other Bridget Jones books being written in the 90’s the complex changes that social media has brought on our reality were never experienced or explored by the lovable character.

In the new installment however, she will have to deal with all of them from Twitter to Facebook to texting, and do so fast, while dealing with all the challenges the London of today offers.

The title wasn't the only recent release as it came with some passages from the book that cover the big social media issues. The passages basically compare the ease and power of instant messaging and all the harm it can do while done drunk to the days of old when to reach someone you had to buy stamps, write a letter and find a mailbox.

The movie fans might be disappointed; however, as Colin Firth pointed out that the new movie might as well be about Bridget Jones’ granddaughter by the time it will get done.
