New England Patriots Win But Gronkowski Injured Again

An unnamed source revealed that Rob Gronkowski of the New England Patriots will likely miss the remaining postseason games after he injured his left forearm in the playoff game of the team against the Houston Texans.

The source was reportedly informed of the diagnosis of the doctors on the injury of Gronkowski. Although an official announcement has yet to be made by the New England Patriots on the seriousness of the injury, the source revealed that another surgery may be required to fix the bone.

No updates were given by Coach Bill Belichik of the New England Patriots on the condition of Gronkowski after they won against Houston and advance into the AFC finals.

However, New England Patriots left guard Logan Mankins gave indications that Gronkowski will be replaced in the next game. Belichick also said that Gronkowski will not be fit for the next game although he indicated that the team physicians will make the decisions when it comes to the health of the New England Patriots players.

The injury came after Gronkowski landed on his left forearm while trying to catch a Tom Brady pass. He was evaluated in the locker room and x-rays showed another injury on the arm.

The left forearm initially got injured after he blocked a late extra point in the blowout win of the New England Patriots on November 18 against the Indianapolis Colts. This resulted to Gronkowski missing five games before he returned in the regular season finale. Gronkowski seemed to be affected by the injury in his comeback game as well as the latest game of the New England Patriots.

The latest injury of Gronkowski is likely to affect the upcoming game of the New England Patriots.
