New iPad Air To Be Offered By T-Mobile With No Down Payment

Customers can acquire the new iPad Air through T-Mobile in twenty-four monthly installments without any down payment. The “Uncarrier” model will be brought by the mobile service provider to the latest tablet offerings of Apple. The company will also offer 200MB of free data per month for life.

The offer of T-Mobile will allow customers to acquire the 16GB iPad Air at $26.25 per month for twenty-four months. The new iPad has a price tag of $629. Customers will also pay $22.08 per month for two years for the iPad Mini with retina display.

In addition to the Apple iPad, the offer of T-Mobile is applicable to other tablets like the Nexus 7.

The mobile service provider is aiming to increase its income by offering the new iPad. Since this will be the first time the company will sell the iPad, it is not known to have a strong market for these devices. The recent announcement serves as the debut of the company in the tablet market.

Although the initial offer of the company may be appealing, T-Mobile chief marketing officer Mike Sievert did not give any statements on when the upfront cost will be increased by the company. The iPad Air will be sold by the company on November 1 while the iPad Mini with retina display will be released within the same month.

The 200MB free data offered by T-Mobile will be available to all tablet owners. Additional data will require customers to pay more in the plan. Customers can take advantage of a $10 monthly plan that offers 500MB of data. The same plan is available to non-T-Mobile customers at $20 per month.

The company also offers 2.5GB plan and 4.5GB plan at $30 and $40 per month, respectively. Customers with a post-paid plan will be able to bring their tablets, like the iPad Air, when they travel abroad and have access to free unlimited data.
