New “Man Of Steel” Trailer Hints At Darker Superman

A new trailer for the upcoming “Man of Steel” movie was released recently giving fans some clues on what to expect from this Zack Snyder film. The movie is scheduled to reach the big screen on June 14.

Henry Cavill will play the role of the most popular superhero of DC Comics. Since Christopher Nolan is one of the producers of the upcoming movie, this version of Superman appears to be darker compared to previous incarnations of the well-loved superhero. Nolan is the producer of the latest Batman trilogy.

The trailer shows a young Clark Kent starting to about his superpower. He uses his new-found power to save a sinking school bus that was full of youngsters. However, Jonathan Kent, played by Kevin Costner, tells the young Clark that he should keep his abilities a secret since the world is not ready for him.

But the world would need the Man of Steel to save it from the peril it faces every day. The trailer shows Superman dealing with the villains of the movie.

In addition to Cavill and Costner, the movie also has Michael Shannon playing the role of General Zod, one of the super-powered villains that Superman has to deal with in the film. Russell Crowe plays the role of Jor-El, the Kryptionian father of Superman while Perry White, the editor of the Daily Planet, is played by Laurence Fishburne. Amy Adams takes on the role of Lois Lane, the love interest of the Man of Steel.
