New York Knicks Sees Positive Outlook For The 2013 NBA Playoffs

The New York Knicks may be in for some good news as it may be possible for some of its injured players will be available to play for their first game against Boston in the 2013 NBA Playoffs. The effect of the injuries on the big men of the team was so deep that Solomon Jones, who had signed with the team recently, started against the Paces last Sunday.

However, it appears that Rasheed Wallace may be able to test his foot, which underwent surgery last December, in one of the last two games of the team.

According to Mike Woodson, Wallace was already running the floor and shooting. It may take some time for him to reach his full strength, but he is getting there. Kenyon Martin and Tyson Chandler are also sidelined for the moment. However, Woodson is optimistic that they will be available when the New York Knicks play against Boston in the 2013 NBA Playoffs.

Woodson revealed that both Tyson and Kenyon are getting better. They are pleased with the positive developments following the injuries of the two big men.

Marcus Camby was also sidelined for the game against the Pacers. Donnie Walsh, the former president of the New York Knicks, is optimistic about the chances of the team, which may have the opportunity to break its championship drought.

Walsh indicated that the team will be successful in the 2013 NBA Playoffs if its veterans, big men, three-point shooters, and defenders are healthy. He was also impressed by the increased level of play of Carmelo Anthony.

Anthony was a scorer when he entered the league, but he is currently in different level for the moment, Walsh said. His level of play shows that he wants to get things done this year. He is also aware of the opportunity that he has this year and he is working hard to win the championship for the New York Knicks.
