Nextbook 8 Windows Tablet Offered At $99 On Black Friday

The latest Nextbook 8 Windows tablet of E Fun is set to be offered through the stores of Walmart during the Black Friday sales event. This announcement was included in the list of deals on the Black Friday ad circular of the store. While the Nextbook will become available by 8PM local time on Thursday, it will be offered only until supplies last, which mean it may not reach the event on November 28.

Although the tablet is considered at the same status as the iPad Mini offered at $199 and a $29 Android tablet that are both listed on the same ad, its inclusion is the first time a Windows-powered tablet is offered at a price lower than $100.

The E Fun Nextbook 8 Windows tablet features an 8-inch display screen, Intel Atom Z3735G microprocessor, 1GB RAM, and 16GB storage. The Windows tablet also comes with a camera in front and at the black, microHDMI port, and Bluetooth 4.0.

Aside from the full Windows 8.1 OS, the Nextbook features a one-year Microsoft Office 365 Personal subscription. It also features a 1TB OneDrive cloud storage, which is typically extended to a PC or Mac desktop installation. These add-ons are already worth $70.

The Nextbook 8 is the second Windows-powered tablet offered by E Fun. Its first Windows tablet offering was the Nextbook 10.1, which featured a bigger screen and detachable keyboard. The Nextbook 10.1 is priced at $199 on the product page of E Fun while Walmart shows a price tag of $179.

The Nextbook 8 is already available at Walmart at a price tag of $149, which is higher than its sale price for Thanksgiving Thursday or Black Friday. In comparison, the eight-inch Encore 2 of Toshiba, which has similar features as the Nextbook 8 Windows tablet, is priced at $170 but comes with 32GB storage and better cameras.
