Nike to Launch Jeremy Lin-themed Shoes

The “Linsanity fever” lives on!

The biggest name in shoe products, Nike Inc, will start selling Jeremy Lin-themed shoes this weekend, casting the New York Knick point guard's recent rise to worldwide fame.

The Lin-themed shoes will have the high price of $130 and would be available on Nike's website.

Spokesperson from Nike said that it will launch the Nike Zoom Hyperfuse Low basketball shoes, built especially for Lin, this weekend in Orlando, Florida, where the NBA  All-Star festivities is being held.

"It's not a signature line but a version of the shoe that he's been wearing this season," the company announced.

Lin, the NBA's first Taiwanese-American player and a Harvard graduate, has rocketed to fame from being a bench warmer to a famous basketball player and celebrity in just 12 starts for the Knicks.

Nike, the world's biggest sporting goods company, headquartered in Beaverton, Oregon, signed Lin in 2010, and launched its "Linsanity" line of clothes at Foot Locker Inc stores last week.

So those who are happily affected with the “Linsanity fever,” this is your chance to grab Nike’s newest addition to their already-well-known products, the Jeremy Lin-themed shoes and "Linsanity" line of clothes as well.
