No SAG Awards Wardrobe Malfunction For Jennifer Lawrence

Reports that the dress of Jennifer Lawrence appeared to get ripped during the SAG awards as she walked toward the podium are groundless. The supposed incident happened when Jennifer Lawrence was about to accept the Best Actress award. The split was part of the design of the Christian Dior dress that gave it the appearance of getting torn when in motion.

A Christian Dior Couture spokesperson indicated that there was no wardrobe malfunction and the dress was not ripped.

The fashion design house representative indicated that the dress was made of a number of satin and tulle levels. The levels of fabric were seen being lifted by Jennifer Lawrence. There was no wardrobe malfunction since it was a part of the gown’s design.

The statement from Christian Dior was a welcome relief for entertainment watchers since reports of the supposed wardrobe malfunction was beginning to take the limelight from the win of Jennifer Lawrence at the SAG awards. It also started to overshadow the notable acceptance speech of the actress at the awards. She also acknowledged MTV since she was able to enter the Screen Actors Guild following a promo that she shot with the network some time ago.

Jennifer Lawrence thanked MTV since she was able to get the SAG card after the “My Super Sweet 16” promo that the actress did with the music network.

When she got the SAG card through the mail, Jennifer Lawrence recalled that it was the best day of her life since she officially became an actor.
