Norway paid tribute to July 22 Massacre Victims

Oslo, Norway — The whole Scandinavian country of Norway has paid tribute to the recent deadly bombing and massacre that killed 77 innocent people. People laid flowers, flags were soared at half-staff while youngsters blew bubbles outside the Norway Cathedral in Oslo. Scheduled later in the day, a memorial service took place signifying the end of mourning for Norway that lasted for a month.

The peaceful and tranquil Scandinavian country was struck by a series of attacks that saddened the whole Norwegian public. The memorial service was held at the Spektrum Arena, the same place where the Nobel Peace Prize is annually being held. The memorial service was broadcasted live and attended by the survivors and families of all the victims in the last July 22 violent incidents.

The memorial service was attended by King Harald of Norway, the country’s Prime Minister, Jens Stoltenberg, together with other primary and important government officials, politicians, lawmakers and even royalties from neighboring European countries. Norway’s famous singers and musical groups performed as two memorable Norwegian songs in the 1990s was performed at the start and end of the memorial service. A campaign was also initiated in the social networking site Twitter to enable people across the globe to join the commemoration event in Norway.
