Official Footage Of Suicide Squad Released

Following the release of the official trailer of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice during the Comic-Con in San Diego, fans started to speculate on why the trailer for the Suicide Squad was not released at the event. A leaked low-quality version of the trailer of the upcoming movie compelled Warner Bros. Pictures to release the official version at the Comic-Con.

Warner Bros. Pictures president for worldwide marketing and international distribution Sue Kroll released a statement in connection to the release of the official footage. Kroll said the anti-piracy team of Warner Bros. was not able to prevent the leak of the footage of the upcoming movie from Hall H. Due to this situation, the movie studio decided to release a high-quality version of the leaked footage. Kroll added that the company regretted the decision since it intended to give the participants of the Comic Con a unique experience with the footage. However, the company did not want the poor-quality pirated footage to represent the upcoming movie.
