The official movie logo for “The Incredibles 2” was released by Disney recently. A tweet from the official Tweeter account of the company showed the official logo of the upcoming movie and speculations have emerged on its possible release date.


Brad Bird will return to direct the sequel of the well-loved animated movie that was released in 2004. While fans of the movie will have to wait before they can watch the sequel, details of the possible release date have started to emerge. The upcoming movie is expected to be released in 2017 or 2018, according to Venture Capital Post. The report indicated that the sequel may be released By November 22, 2017 or on June 15, 2018. Rumors also emerged indicating that the movie will reach the big screen by December 2017. Disney did not release any statements in connection to the supposed release date of the upcoming animated movie.

The delay in the release date is mainly due to the desire of Brad Bird of presenting a worthy successor to the original movie. The report also indicated that Bird aims to create a memorable story based on the characters of “The Incredibles 2.”

Speculations indicated that the story of the movie is set at least ten years in the future, and the children have taken over the responsibility of saving the world. One twist in the plot will have Jack-jack going up against his family since he is already working with the enemy.

Pixar’s John Lasseter said Bird already has an impressive story and they are already developing it. Lasseter added that they are already excited about “The Incredibles 2.”
