Ohio Kidnapping Hero To Get Free McDonalds For One Year

Charles Ramsey, the person who helped three women escape after being kidnapped and held in captivity for years has gotten a one year free pass at McDonalds.

A company representative for McDonalds has confirmed the news this Thursday. This isn't the only free food mister Ramsey has been offered as numerous franchises in the Cleveland neighborhood offered him free food at their establishments.

The reason behind the food offer comes because of Ramsey’s interview, given just hours after he helped free Gina DeJesus, Michelle Knight and Amanda Berry. In the interview the Ohio kidnapping hero said that he had to stop eating his McDonalds burger to see what was happening at Ariel Castro’s residence.

The interview soon went viral and McDonalds noticed they were mentioned and quickly decided to reward the hero and loyal customer.

Just a day after the events, McDonalds mentioned via Twitter that they’ll be in touch with Mr. Ramsey.

Hodges restaurant, where Ramsey works as a dishwasher, didn't fall behind and created the Ramsey burger, an Angus Beef, 8 ounce burger with a secret sauce to celebrate the Cleveland hero.

Four restaurants in the Cleveland neighborhood are participating in the offer and a special lifetime card is being offered to the Ohio kidnapping hero that will guarantee him a free burger every time he walks in one of the restaurants.
