“Olympus Has Fallen” Is A Redemption Movie, According To Butler

The latest action movie of Gerard Butler, “Olympus Has Fallen,” will likely give viewers scenes that were not seen for some time. Some of the most recognizable sights in Washington will be blown up while a good number of lawbreakers dying a violent death.

Butler plays a fallen Secret Service agent in the movie. Despite all the action happening around him, his character appears to be more refined. Butler revealed that the movie is about a person who will face his demons and discover redemption.

The character of Butler feels responsible for the first lady’s death following a mistake that he made in the past.

Butler indicated that the movie is about the adversities people face and how they deal with it. It brings a good amount of inspiration. People may feel the pain that the character has gone through in the movie, “Olympus Has Fallen.” The movie is about giving second chances and heroism since the character was given the chance to do what he was trained to do.

Former security and counter-terrorism officials were present on the set due to the request of Antoine Fuqua, the director of the movie. Although no national security secrets were revealed in the movie, Gerard Butler indicated that he is aware of the possibility that they may be giving ideas on a possible attack in the future.

He said that he was thinking of the possibility that they were irresponsible. However, he added that the terrorists may plans that are bigger than what is revealed in the movie, “Olympus Has Fallen.”

But the actor recognizes the way that the movie reflects the real world. North Korea has been increasing tension in the Korean peninsula with its actions, and there are some concerns after Kim Jong-un became the leader of North Korea.

Movies always have the cultural situation of the world as their setting. The things that affect the world and the consciousness of the people are shown in the movie. The North Korean government was not included in “Olympus Has Fallen” since the villain in the movie is a rogue organization.
