Pakistani Taliban Deny Responsibility For Boston Attacks
Ehsanullah Ehsan spokesman for the Taliban organization in Pakistan said to the press that the Pakistani Taliban were not involved in the Boston attacks at Monday's marathon.
They also added that the Taliban organization will issue another statement after the group responsible for the attacks has made itself public.
The group also said that that the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan or TTP support attacks on the United States, and that they were behind the failed attacks on Times Square in 2010. They also confirmed close ties to al-Qaeda.
The tribal area of Pakistan is a safe haven for militant groups like the Afghan Taliban or the Haqqani network.
There are also a host of training camps that are used to plan attacks on International troops in Afghanistan and assassinations all across the world.
The TTP said they were also responsible for the assassination attempt on MalalaYousafzai, a 15 year old girl that promotes education and gender equality.
With no group caliming responsibility for the Boston Marathon bombings, the United States government is trying not to accuse jihadist groups before all the facts are known.
This being said, suspicion for the guilty part of the Boston Attacks is going to be cast on American extremists or on al-Qaeda network in the Arabian Peninsula.
