Paparazzo dies while taking pictures of Justin Bieber’s Ferrari
Pop sensation Justin Bieber called for a change in legislation as a paparazzo was killed while attempting to take a picture of Bieber’s white Ferrari.
The incident apparently happened this Tuesday, at about 6 p.m. east coast time, when a photographer that is yet to be identified didn't miss the opportunity to take a picture of Bieber’s Ferrari.
The photographer crossed Sepulveda Boulevard near the Getty Center Drive, and took a picture of Bieber's white Ferrari as it was pulled over on the 405 Freeway. A friend of Justin Bieber was driving the car as the pop star wasn't even present at the scene of the accident.
The photographer was hit by a vehicle as he was crossing the road back to his car, and died a few hours later at Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center.
According to eye witnesses the photographer didn't cross the street on a crosswalk and the motorist that hit him cooperated with the police.
“My thoughts and prayers are with the family of the victim. Hopefully this tragedy will finally inspire meaningful legislation and whatever other necessary steps to protect the lives and safety of celebrities, police officers, innocent public bystanders and the photographers themselves.” said a statement by Justin Bieber.
