Paris Hilton Victim Of Scandalous Nelson Mandela Tweet
Paris Hilton was the victim of what she suggests was an internet hoax, committed by someone who hacked her Twitter account and sent a message that made it look like the Hilton heiress confused the recently departed Nelson Mandela with Martin Luther King Jr.
Bloggers and celebrity newspapers were set ablaze when a screen capture of what apparently looked like Paris Hilton’s Twitter account was made public, a capture where she posted a message confusing former South African president Nelson Mandela with Martin Luther King Jr.
The tweet is said to have been deleted from the celebrity’s Twitter page just a couple of minutes after it was posted. It said “RIP Nelson Mandela. Your ‘I Have a Dream’ speech was so inspiring. An amazing man.”
The Hilton heiress came out and accused someone of playing a terrible hoax on her, saying that she didn't confuse Nelson Mandela for King, who delivered the quoted “I have a dream...” speech in 1963.
She responded via Twitter, saying that the person who faked her tweet “lacks respect” for the loss the world has suffered this Thursday. She also included the blogs that publicized the tweet saying that she is tired of people lying about her and using her name. Paris Hilton ended her rant by advising the above mentioned people to get a life and stop talking about hers.
