Peyton Manning Breaks Records As The Denver Broncos Win

The Denver Broncos routed the Philadelphia Eagles for its four straight blowout win in the NFL. Denver Chip Kelly, the first-year coach of the Eagles said four teams were not successful in stopping Denver.

Although Kelly appreciates good offense, he watched Peyton Manning lead Denver against his team. The Broncos had three third quarter 80-yard touchdown drives. Six different Bronco players received passes from Manning in the three drives where Denver scored 21 points. This problem has yet to be solved by a defensive coordinator of an opposing team.

The Dallas Cowboys will have their chance to break the run of the Denver Broncos. Coach Jason Garret and quarterback Tony Romo should learn from the errors committed by the defense of Philadelphia. It will be necessary for the Cowboys to score a touchdown each time the Broncos score one.

The Eagles were able to respond to the two touchdowns of the Broncos with field goals. However, Kelly said that trading three points for the seven points of Peyton will not work. Manning revealed that he enjoyed the win of Denver against Philadelphia. The quarterback was able to tie the record of most number of touchdowns without an interception set by Milt Plum.

Manning also passed the record of fourteen touchdowns in four games of Don Meredith and Kurt Warner. He finished the four-game romp with sixteen touchdowns. The quarterback of the Denver Broncos is also in the middle of a streak of 201 regular season games without any interceptions on his passes. The streak dates back to the game of Denver against Cleveland in December 23. This is the longest stretch in the career of Manning.

On the other hand, the Eagles will face questions on whether the team has made some progress since the last season. The loss to the Denver Broncos also reminds the team of the season when Andy Reid was dismissed and Kelly was hired by the team.
