Sales of the Sony PlayStation 4 or the PS 4 have reportedly surpassed one million units. This gives an indication that the company may have hit a goldmine with the latest model of its video game console.

The one-million mark was reached within the first 24 hours of the release of the game console in the North American market, according to Sony. However, it did not give any indications if pre-orders were included in the figures.
