Reports Show Brian Austin Green and Megan Fox Splitting
Brian Austin Green and Megan Fox have reportedly split according to Us Weekly and People. The split of the 29-year-old Fox and 42-year-old Green comes after a number of celebrity splits that happened over the summer.
Among the celebrities who called it quits recently were Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck, Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton, and Gavin Rossdale and Gwen Stefani. The two celebrities called it quits after being together for over a decade. The number of months the two have lived apart varied according to reports. People indicated that the two have been living away from each other for “several months” while Us Magazine said they have not lived together for at least six months.
Fox recently finished shooting for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2 while Green was part of the cast of Anger Management of FX.
The couple met over ten years ago when Brian Austin Green was a guest star on Hope & Faith, the show of Megan Fox. While they were initially engaged in 2006, the engagement was called off after three years. Fox is younger than Green by three years. The two celebrities said their split was mutual. Fox said a marriage is not “a realistic goal for someone who is 23.”
Green proposed again in June 2010 and they got married in Hawaii twenty-four days after the proposal. They have two sons, Bodhi, 18 months, and Noah, 2 years old. Green has a 13-year-old son with Vanessa Marcii. Megan Fox revealed to Men’s Health last year that she considers Green to be her soul mate but admitted that they were different from each other. She added that arguments are unavoidable and can be considered normal.
Fox said Green was “meant to be the father” of her children. This made it easy for her to work things out since she always looks at the “spiritual side of things.” She added that she always looks “at the end game.”
The last time Brian Austin Green and Megan Fox were photographed together was on June 9 when they were having lunch in Beverly Hills.
