Ricoh WG-4 Launched For GoPro Market

The Ricoh WG-4 provides minimal upgrades compared to earlier models of the camera. The latest device comes with a 25mm to 100 mm lens featuring digital image stabilization and sensor-shift. It also has a 16MP CMOS sensor, six LEDS on the lens to facilitate macro photography, and a three-inch LCD.

The main upgrade is the shooting modes of the camera, which offers a number of automatic and scene options. It also offers handheld night shot, panorama and HDR mode. Shutter speed of the camera ranges from four seconds to 1/2000 second.

However, the release of the Ricoh WG-4 indicates that the company aims to take advantage of the increasing activity in this niche in the camera market. Together with the release of the latest camera models of the company a camera holder and three months were also launched.

The camera holder has a price tag of $19.99 and screws into the tripod mount of the camera. The camera holder can be mounted into three different mounts, a ball-and socket system, suction cup, and adhesive camera mount. It will not be necessary to use a camera housing since the camera is already rugged and waterproof.

The camera mounts will be available in the market within the month. The ball-and socket system, suction cup, and adhesive camera mount have a price tag of $44.99, $42.99 and $39.99 respectively. On the other hand, the WG-4 is priced at $329.95 and will be available in lime yellow and silver color options. Another model of the camera, the WG-4 GPS, features GPS and is priced at $329.95. These two camera models will be available in the market by March.

The WG-20 was also announced by Ricoh. This camera model has a waterproof, shockproof, dust-proof, freeze-proof and crush-proof body. It is available at $199.95, which Is lower than the price tag of the Ricoh WG-4.
