Robin Thicke And Paula Patton Report Divorce

One of the longest lasting love stories in the entertainment business has apparently come to a sad end as r&b singer Robin Thicke and his wife Paula Patton are apparently separating. While rumors announced the split as imminent for months, an unconfirmed source said that their relationship got particularly difficult after the attention grabbing performance between Thicke and Miley Cyrus during the 2013 VMA’s.

In the aftermath of the controversial performance, Thicke apparently asked his wife to stick by him and defend his performance, something that the beautiful actress did all through the scandal and going into awards season.

Patton even appeared on The Today Show and said that she was aware of the performance as Cyrus and her husband have been rehearsing for days. In several red carpet interviews, Patton also added that she is not a traditionalist and being an artist herself she understands how important it is for her husband to express himself. When asked what the secret to their relationship was during the Grammy red carpet the actress, 38, said that it is the fact that they are still madly in love with each other.

But while everything appeared to be going great, their relationship was already damaged, leading to the joint statement released today that they are separating.
