Rolling Stones Tour Delayed On Account Of NBA Playoffs

The Rolling Stones are famous for their punctuality, especially when it comes to their tours. Sadly for the band, the date of the NBA playoffs made them delay their 50th tour premiere by one day. The Tour that has 17 dates and takes place in 10 cities was postponed to May 3.

The other 16 dates on the tour won’t be affected and the tour will go on as scheduled until its end on the 21st of June.

Tickets that were bought for the initial 2nd of May date are still available for the Staples center debut show. Customers that can’t make it on the new date can get refunds at the point of purchase.

The band has added a number of extra venues to the initial list, even a second show at the Staples Center that will take place on the 20th of May. Another performance was added at the Honda Center in Anaheim on the 18th of May.

The new Rolling Stones tour will reach cities like Los Angeles, Chicago, Boston, Philadelphia and Toronto.

In a recent interview guitarist Keith Richards said that new shows can still be added. He also added that “the thing about” Rolling Stones shows is that once they start they are hard to stop, and that the band wants to play in as many places as their program allows.
