Royal Baby Birth Spark Celebrations In The UK

The Duchess of Cambridge finally gave birth to the royal baby on Monday at St. Mary’s Hospital. It is expected that Prince William and Catherine will appear at the steps after they leave the hospital with the baby. To maintain the tradition, they may stop for a while for photographs before they board a waiting car.

The prince is also expected to speak to the media and well-wishers outside the hospital. The parents of Catherine are also expected to say something about the birth of their new grandson.

For the moment, the name of the royal baby has yet to be announced. It may be announced once the couple will leave St. Mary’s Hospital. It can be recalled that the name of Prince William was announced a number of days after he was born. The name Prince Harry was announced when his parents left the hospital.

Speculations have emerged on the possible name of the newborn. Some expected the baby to be given a traditional name, like Henry, Louis, Alexander, James, and George.

Forty-one rounds are expected to be released by the King's Troop Royal Horse Artillery to celebrate the birth. On the other hand, sixty-two rounds will be shot by the Honorable Artillery Company to mark the birth of the royal baby. The birth was announced through a message at the top of the BT Tower. The message displayed “It’s a boy” following the birth.

The fountain located at Trafalgar Square was dyed blue to celebrate the birth. The London Eye was decorated with red, white, and blue colors to mark the birth. The Hungerford Bridge was also decked with blue-colored lights after the birth

The family is expected to go to the Queen's estate at Sandringham or the home village of the Middletons in Berkshire. However, it remains to be seen where the newborn will stay in the next few weeks.

The family will eventually stay in a new apartment at Kensington Palace. Prince William and Catherine are expected to provide the royal baby a normal upbringing, and may not hire a nanny.
