The Samsung Ativ One 7 Curved is based on the curved displays of Samsung TVs. It is the first all-in-one desktop computer to feature a curved screen, which enhances entertainment and gaming experience compared to conventional monitors.

Samsung product manager David Ng recognized the possibility that potential buyers may find the unusual shape peculiar. However, desktop users will become accustomed to the curved contours of the screen. He said users may increase their appreciation for the curved screen if they use it often.

The all-in-one PC is expected to become appealing to users who want to have a stylish home.

The Samsung Ativ One 7 Curved features a Core i5 processor, 8GB RAM and storage of up to 1TB. The device also features HDMI and USB 3.0 ports. Aside from a PC< it can also be used as a TV with cable boxes and game consoles connected to it through an HDMI port. It will be offered in the market by February.

However, it does not feature a touchscreen display, which is present in other all-in-one desktops. The motherboard of the device is curved slightly and is installed at the back.

The South Korean company is also aiming to launch lighter and thinner Ativ Book laptops during the International CES. The 128GB Ativ Book 9 currently has a price tag of $1,199 while the 256GB model is priced at $1,399.

Samsung also gave the Ativ Book 9 Plus a brand-new Intel Core processor while its display will have a resolution of 3200 by 1800 pixels. The 128GB model of the Ativ Book 9 Plus will have a price tag of $1,299. On the other hand, the 256 GB model will have a price tag of $1,699. When the Samsung Ativ One 7 Curved enters the market, it will have a price tag of $1,299.
