Second Godzilla Trailer Released
The second Godzilla trailer was released recently showing glimpses of the nuclear-powered beast causing massive destruction across the city. The trailer opened up with the character of Bryan Cranston frantically pleading for answers.
The trailer of the upcoming movie also showed the Statue of Liberty missing an arm while fighter planes dropping out of the sky. It also showed that in 1954 the nuclear tests in the Pacific were actually meant to kill the giant reptile. This was the same year indicated on the first Godzilla movie. However, the nuclear blasts only annoyed the beast instead of actually hurting it.
With the return of the beast, the character of Cranston believes the government is hiding the truth about what was happening from the people. He indicated that it may send civilization back into the Stone Age. The second Godzilla trailer also shows a soldier speculating if they have the capability of killing the beast.
The old Godzilla movies showed a delicate monster despite being a beast that wreaks havoc wherever it goes. The latest version of the monster on the Gareth Edwards movie is stronger and tougher as it does not appear to get hurt by missiles launched against it.
The full body shot of the main star of the movie was kept out of sight by Edwards. However, he does provide a clear look of the back of the monster along with its spiked armored protrusions. The menacing jaws of the monster were also shown near the end of the trailer before a door closes.
The new roar introduced on the second Godzilla trailer was made available by Warner Bros. Pictures through a SoundCloud for movie fans who want to use it as a ringtone.
