Selena Gomez Covers “Cry Me A River”
Pop star Selena Gomez seems to be getting her revenge after the last and possibly definitive split with Justin Bieber.
The young pop diva sang Justin Timberlake’s classic “Cry Me A River” at a UNICEF concert, this Saturday January 19th.
Selena Gomez has had an on and off relationship with Justin Bieber that supposedly ended for good just a couple of days before New Year’s Eve.
Apparently Gomez had quite a impressive performance of the song and while she didn't mention Bieber by name she made some pretty suggestive hints.
Before singing the song, Selena Gomez apparently said “I've been through a lot the past few months … It's been weird and sad and cool."
She then proceeded to sing an acapella version of “Cry Me A River”, a song the Justin Timberlake used after his own very public break-up with Britney Spears.
The last episode of the couple’s on/off relationship apparently was held while they were vacationing in Puerta Vallarta, Mexico, where, after a big fight they had to end their vacation short.
Coincidence or not, the cover comes at about two months after another one of their episodes drove Justin Bieber to cover the song, in a concert held in November.
Unofficial sources in Bieber’s entourage say that the break-up is for good and that Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber will not get back together this time.
