Shay Mitchell Experiences Wardrobe Malfunction
When Shay Mitchell filled in for Kelly Ripa on the April 25 episode of “Live With Kelly & Michael” on Monday, the actress experienced a wardrobe malfunction while on the air. The studio audience of the talk show saw the strap of the cream-colored jumpsuit of the “Pretty Little Liars” star unraveling as she had a lively chat with Michael Strahan.
As the show went into commercial break, wardrobe assistants immediately worked on fixing the jumpsuit of the actress. A video posted on the official Instagram page of the show indicated that they were sewing the top of the 29-year-old Mitchell, who was smiling throughout the entire incident.
Shay Mitchell posted a photo of the incident on her own Instagram account with the caption saying that she experienced a casual wardrobe malfunction while she was with the regular co-host of the show. She also thanked Strahan in the same post, adding she had a great time at the show.

Mitchell filled in for the 45-year-old Ripa, who has not appeared live on the show after an April 19 announcement indicating that the 44-year-old Strahan was leaving the show to join Good Morning America in September. But, the former NFL star announced on the April 25 show that his co-host is expected to return on Tuesday.
He said that Ripa scheduled a day off for her 20th anniversary, but she will return the next day. Ripa sent an email to the staff of the show that she will return on Tuesday. The return of Ripa comes after going on a trip with Mark Consuelos, her husband, for their twentieth wedding anniversary. Ripa went to New York and did not have any communication with Strahan.
An insider indicated that she did not communicate with Strahan, who would not be the right person to tell Ripa about his upcoming transfer to Good Morning America. The source added that the head of the network is the best person to make the announcement. In the meantime, Shay Mitchell took over the hosting chores for the Monday episode of the show.
