Shia LaBeouf Reveals Events Behind His June Arrest
The sense of humor of Shia LaBeouf was revealed when he joked about his antics that were reported near the middle of the year. The actor addressed his bizarre behavior and apologized for it during “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” a week ago. He laughed at himself as he recounted the story behind his arrest last June on "Jimmy Kimmel Live" recently.
The actor gave a narrative of the events that led to his arrest. He revealed that he drank a good amount of whiskey while visiting his girlfriend in Ireland. He continued to drink at a bar while watching a World Cup match when he arrived in New York after a few hours.
The actor added that he was too drunk to care as he joked about the football match, which he thought was between Lithuania and South Korea. Shia LaBeouf also said he went outside and started talking with a homeless man. The homeless freaked out after a fan took a picture of the actor. This led LaBeouf to chase the man across Times Square to calm him down.
The predicament of LaBeouf did not end there. A fellow bar patron later invited the actor to watch a Broadway production of “Cabaret.” The person who invited LaBeouf was a dancer in the show. When LaBeouf showed up at the show he fed strawberries to a middle-aged woman at the bar of the theater.
Security personnel at the theater accosted the actor after he started to light a cigarette. Shia LaBeouf revealed that he smoked a cigarette at the theater after he saw the star of the play smoking on the stage.
