Shoppers Camp Out Waiting For Best Buy Black Friday Deals
Some people are looking forward to Best Buy Black Friday deals so much that they camped outside some stores as early as Wednesday. This comes as most Americans were busy preparing for their Thanksgiving dinner at home. One shopper, Ahmad Omar, said he just wanted to be early and make sure they can get what he wants to give to his little brother and cousins. He wanted to make sure to get the gifts early.
Another shopper, Ahmed Hassan said it was a great feeling to camp outside the store before Black Friday while hanging out with his family and getting products at a cheaper price. Many of the shoppers already know which Best Buy Black Friday deal they want to get.
Omar said he is aiming for the 49-inch Toshiba television, which will be discounted by $200. He added that its price is around $150, which is a good deal. He is also looking to get an Xbox One bundle for his little brother.
A group of people in front revealed they are simply following the lead of their parents. Omar said they have been doing the same thing for a long time already and they are simply following what their parents did when it comes to taking advantage of the Best Buy Black Friday deals.
The practice has already become a kind of tradition for Thanksgiving. Omar added that lining up outside the store is nearly a tradition for them “in a weird way.” Hassan said they may return to their homes to eat and there are some instances when they bring the turkey with them for their Thanksgiving lunch or dinner.
However, camping outside the store is not easy due to the weather. Omar said there are some instances when he preferred staying home for the holidays. While the incoming bad weather may be the worst part in waiting outside the store to take advantage of Best Buy Black Friday deals, people said it is fun to simply hang out and talk with everyone else.
