SNL Hosting Of Jennifer Lawrence Falters

Being a winner at the Golden Globes and an Oscar nominee did not appear to help Jennifer Lawrence in a recent set at SNL.

Stand-up comedy is a different skill set, which the Oscar Best Actress nominee may still have to learn as she joked about the other nominees for the same award.

Jennifer Lawrence may need help with the jokes given to her by SNL writers. Although some chuckles were heard, none of the jokes of J. Law brought the house down. A commenter at The Hollywood Reporter indicated that the jokes given to Jennifer Lawrence were the reason why she did not get enough laughs.

The commenter wrote that the episode with J. Law was the worst-written in the entire season, which was supposedly been plagued with a lot of badly-written material.

However, others said that the Jennifer Lawrence herself was the one at fault. One commenter indicated that the jokes appeared condescending and some damage control may be needed after the episode.

Although the SNL hosting did not come out as expected, it may not affect the chances of J. Law in bagging the award. It also does not matter since Jennifer Lawrence has a very big fan-base, who may find all of her jokes funny.
