Taylor Swift Enjoying Life Without A Partner

Although Taylor Swift revealed recently that she is not yet ready for another relationship, she has not given up on dating.

She said she was not lonely and she is not looking for anyone for the moment. She added that she is not going to sacrifice her independence simply because someone cute wants to date her. She admitted that she was not dating anyone since she split with Harry Styles of One Direction in January 2013. She added that her next Prince Charming should be ready to go an extra mile for her.

She added that the person should be very special for her to go through the circumstances that she would want to date him. Taylor Swift is not sure if there is anyone she would want to have a relationship with. She added that she is already happy with her life right now.

The 1989 album of the singer reached the top spot on iTunes following its release on October 27. Her millions of fans also gave her a good amount of positive feedback. She added she grew up with the help of Lena Dunham. The singer said the enthusiastic perspective of Dunham molded her in the last few years.

The view of Dunham on feminism may have inspired the singer. She said she talks about feminism and inequality with her friends. She said it was unfair for society to see a woman negatively when she dates four people in eight years while a man is simply called fun, mischievous and sexy.

Since Swift is living in New York, she can spend as much time with Dunham. The boyfriend of Dunham collaborated with the singer in a number of her 1989 songs. Taylor Swift said the best thing she did was to move to New York, which is a big challenge for her since she had to uproot her life and find a new circle of friends.
