“The Hobbit” Faces Lawsuit Before World Premiere

Producers of the much anticipated "The Hobbit : An Unexpected Journey", face a heap of trouble as two potential lawsuits may be filled against them on the verge of their world premiere.

The first issue seems to be brought up by the Tolkien Estate people who filled a lawsuit against New Line Cinema and Warner Bros. on the grounds of marketing rights being overreached.

They also expressed displeasure with the over marketing of Tolkien’s work into some areas that are of “questionable morals” like the online gambling game called “Lord of the Rings: Fellowship of the Ring: Online Slot Game” are overreaching the pre-established contract, issues that brought “irreparable harm to Tolkien’s legacy”.

The other issues are brought up by PETA members after handlers that worked on "The Hobbit" set reported that the death of 27 animals could have been avoided.

A spokesman for Peter Jackson, director of "The Hobbit", said that the deaths of two horses could have been avoided but that the rest of the incidents were from natural causes. He also told reporters that Peter Jackson had adopted three pigs that we’re used in the movie.

PETA concluded that all deaths could have been avoidable and its members should sabotage "The Hobbit" movie.
