“The Voice” Judge Clarifies Comment During The Show

Two members of the team of Adam Levine of “The Voice” were eliminated recently. However, his comment after the elimination drew the attention of many people.

The front man of the popular group “Maroon 5” was reportedly overheard mumbling that he hated this country following the elimination of Sarah Simmons and Judith Hill from the reality singing competition of NBC. The remark of the singer quickly attracted a number of online reactions. Some of the reactions criticize Adam Levine while others supported him, indicating that the comment of “The Voice” judge was a joke.

The singer quickly posted a number of definitions on Twitter in connection to his comment.

He later explained through a statement indicating that he loved his country and that his comments on the show were mainly due to frustration. He indicated that he invested a lot of passion on his team on the show. He wanted his artists to succeed.

He felt emotional due to the elimination of two members of his team and his comments were made due to his disappointment with the results. Adam Levine added that he feels connected with his artists and believes that they have a long career ahead of them despite the results on the show.

The star is left with one singer on his team following the ouster of the two artists, who were considered favorites of the judges’. Both Shakira and Usher also have one member of their respective teams remaining in the contest. On the other hand, three members of the team of Blake Shelton remain in contention for the top prize on “The Voice.”
