Tina Fey and Amy Poehler To Host Golden Globes Again

After their last hosting managed to get the show the highest ratings in the past six years, Tina Fey and Amy Poehler seemed to agree to host the Golden Globes for the following two years.

After managing to get 19.7 million viewers to tune in to the awards show last year, all while scoring a 6.4 rating in the 18-49 demographic, Fey and Poehler seem to be the darlings of the Hollywood Foreign Press Association.

Pael Telegdy, NBC president of alternative and late night programming said that he is delighted to work with some of the most professional and talented writers and performers in the business.

The news means that the two are not going to be hosting the 2015 Oscars as many people thought. Speculation placed the duo as the favorites to host the 2015 Oscars, even though both have dismissed the rumors and said that the entire set up of the Oscar ceremony is far too complicated.

The Hollywood Foreign Press Association president Theo Kingma said that he is “thrilled” that the comedic due signed up for two more years, “ensuring” that the Golden Globes will be the "biggest best and most entertaining” award show on TV, for the next two year at least.
