Tom Hanks’ Son Chester Hanks Goes To Rehab
Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson’s eldest son, Chester Hanks, has been apparently spending time in a rehab facility in order to treat his cocaine addiction. The 24-year-old Chester also known by his rapper name Chet Haze sought out help for his long battle with addiction and is currently 50 days sober.
According to o video message the young rapper posted on his Instagram page he has been struggling with substance abuse since he was 16 years old, and has only managed to get the courage and will to address the problem at the age of 24. He also added that with the 50 days of sobriety “under his belt” he feels “like the happiest man alive.”
The rapper thanked his parents and brothers Truman and Colin for their support and added he feels blessed to finally be free of his cocaine and alcohol addiction. The youngest member of the Hanks family also thanked his fans for their support and said that he owes a lot to the AA and NA programs for helping him “rise above the disease” and put his life back on track.
The young Hanks came out about his problems and the recovery he has made after he learned a tabloid magazine would have exposed his stint at a rehab clinic for cocaine addiction.
