“Transformers: Age of Extinction” Trailer Released During The Super Bowl
The first “Transformers: Age of Extinction” trailer was released by Paramount Pictures recently. Michael Bay and the movie studio decided to increase anticipation for the movie when they did not release any footage prior to the Super Bowl.
The first trailer of one of the most-anticipated movies for 2014 appeared to meet expectations of industry watchers. The thirty-second trailer may be short but it is filled with numerous action sequences typical of the style of Michael Bay. Fans of the Transformer franchise have been waiting for the release of the trailer for some time already and it may have lived up to their expectations.
The “Transformers: Age of Extinction” will be the first Transformers of Mark Wahlberg, who takes over the lead of Shia LaBeouf, who was the main star of the first three installments of the movie.
Although Michael Bay revealed that LeBeouf was not easy to work with, the decision to give the elad to Wahlberg was mainly due to the story. He indicated that he wanted to stop doing Transformers movies after the third installment since it was not easy to make a fourth installment using the same characters.
Even as the third installment of the series earned over $300 million, it had a lukewarm reception due from fans and critics. Some industry watchers pointed to the cutting of Megan Fox from the series as one of the reasons for the situation.
Wahlberg will play a father of a seventeen-year-old daughter in the movie. He is considered the ideal choice in the latest installment of the series due to his roles as a tough guy in a number of movies. Wahlberg is expected to have the experience to meet the challenges that may face the upcoming “Transformers: Age of Extinction,” which is schedule to hit the big screen on June 27, 2014.
