Twilight Saga dominates MTV Movie Awards 2011
The Twilight Saga: Eclipse ruled at the MTV Movie Awards on Sunday Night, taking home 5 trophies and scoring a "three-peat" by once again winning Best Movie.
The third film in the vampire romance franchise went into the night leading the contenders with eight nominations, followed by Inception with seven, and Harry Potter, which received six nominations but only won one award.
Jason Sudeikis hosted the two-hour event at Los Angeles’ Gibson Amphitheatre. The ceremony lived up to its reputation as the raunchiest award show of the season, with multiple bleeped f-bombs and eyebrow-raising moments -- including presenters Justin Timberlake and Mila Kunis groping each other on stage before handing out the first award of the night.
The show also offered exclusive peaks of the supernatural thriller Super 8 (due in theaters on Friday), Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part 2 (July 15) and The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn, Part 1 (November 18).
