U.S. Men’s National Soccer Team Wins Against Panama

On January 25, Wednesday, the United States men's national soccer team wins against Panama with the final score of 1-0 in their first match this year.

Graham Zusi scored his first international goal in the first eighth minute of the game. Despite going down to ten men in the second half, the Americans bagged the win.

U.S. back line had a difficulty in defending against the Panamanian offense towards the end of the first half.  Nick Rimando, who defended the goal well, contributed a lot to the win of the team.

Their teammate, Teal Bunbury, was an uprising star in the American team a year ago, but he failed to grab the opportunities the team has given him.

Bunbury's teammate C.J. Sapong replaced him in the second half of the game and displayed better playing skills than him. The fans hope that Teal Bunbury would improve his performance for future victories.

Even though they lost, the Panamas exposed noticeable weaknesses in the U.S. team which were apparent in the first half of the game. It was just easy for the Panama's forwards to get behind the American defense, while the U.S. forwards struggled to equal theirs.
