Matt Mitrione fires Agent

During Matt Mitrione's UFC post fight interview with Joe Rogan on last night's UFC 119 event, Mitrione announced that he was firing his agent.

Viewers of the event were confused at the time.

However, during a post fight interview with Ariel Helwani, Mitrione confirmed that he fired Malki Kawa for only securing him $5,000 in sponsorship money for his globally broadcast fight.

Mitrione also claimed that Kawa did not get along well with his wife.

Matt Mitrione became popular during the 10th season of the UFC's Ultimate Fighter series and gained additional noteriety after fighting Kimbo Slice a few months back.
